  Hi, my name is Jiri (he/him), and I’m currently a 2nd-year Computer Science major living with one roommate in the Plaza Lofts, located right in the heart of Isla Vista—directly above Kaiju and Su’s Bowl restaurants. It’s just a 5-minute walk or bike ride to campus, making it a super convenient spot for anyone who prefers getting around without a car. I’ll be transferring out next year, so I’m looking for someone to take over my lease for the upcoming school year. Rent: $1700/month, including utilities. This is a spacious studio apartment with two floors and a private kitchen. Although the unit originally came unfurnished, I’ll be leaving all my furniture behind, including: • A fully equipped kitchen • Bed, desk, chair, external monitor, and a small bookshelf • All the cleaning equipment you could ever need (I’m serious about cleaning!) • A large whiteboard mounted on the wall There’s also a laundry room on the same floor and access to a secure bike storage room within the building. Even though it’s located in the middle of IV, the apartment is incredibly quiet and the building is mostly occupied by graduate and PhD students. My roommate—who will be staying—is a Physics major, very academically and career-oriented, but also a really nice guy. He also does not have many visitors.   Hello, I am currently a first year at UCSB and am looking for somewhere to live during the next academic year. I am a pretty social person and always enjoy talking to anyone anywhere, anytime about anything. I had some plans to live with people for the next year coming up, but one is becoming an RA while the other is leaving so I got put out of luck on housing with people I know right in the middle of applications. Thankfully I know people are looking for an extra person to fill out their lease and I will gladly be that for anyone. I am generally pretty unbothered and open to compromise while living with other people, (unless the room smells like sewage). I will do my best to be the ideal roommate that isn't a nuisance at all times, but at the same time I would love to make friends with anyone who wants to talk and hang. I'm always down to go out whether it be to study, workout, or go partying. During the week, I would spend most of my time on campus occupied with classes and club activities, but during the weekends I would probably mostly be in the living room or bedroom studying/bumming. My girlfriend goes to UCI so I may be out some weekends and would return late on Sundays. I try my best to keep my personal space as well as shared spaces clean, at worst I'll wait until the end of the day to do my dishes.
